Twitch Stream Layouts
Custom made twitch stream layouts for the twitch gaming streamer @mazamuki.

To try and create a layout that matches the game's aesthetics, I used references from official game wallpapers and in-game art/interfaces to help determine the initial colour theme and style for the layout. This is then further developed by matching font and imagery to those from the game to create a unique and tailored layout specific to the game being streamed, creating a unique and immersive experience for both streamer and viewer.

Layouts in use can be viewed on Mazamuki's live twitch streaming channel at:
Client brief: Layout using Final Fantasy VII OG style graphics
This was a little difficult at first, mostly due to the fact Final Fantasy VII had a remake last year with enhanced visuals so finding the older style of graphics was tricky. I improvised by using the original character concept art and combining it with new renders of the Shinra mako reactor from the remake of the game as a background to create a hybrid style. For the chat box area, I went with a wallpaper from the PSP game Crisis Core instead which includes characters who are mentioned in the OG game but are not shown much as their story predates Final Fantasy VII. The font and alert boxes are styled after the original game's interface using a blue/black gradient and white text to complete the overall OG gaming look.

Generic Gaming

Client brief: Generic gaming layout featuring graphical and text logos of console names (Dreamcast, N64, Playstation and Xbox)
This time the client requested a more generic layout to stream shorter games and gaming events such as State of Play. The idea was to present the main console logos to cover all areas of gaming. Dreamcast, N64, Playstation and Xbox logos were specifically requested by the client, however the colour theme of the differing logos clashed with each other so to harmonise them together I went with a techno/electro colour theme using mostly blue and purple hues to create a gradient effect. The gradient is also then applied to the alert boxes and a simple san serif font was used to create a clean feel for the layout.
Monster Hunter Rise

Client brief: Simple layout for Monster Hunter Rise
The request was for something simple, playful and colourful but not too garish. For this I decided to follow the theme of the official wallpapers released by Capcom by using chibi cute drawings of the support cat and dog that follow the player character in the game accompanied by light pastel colours. The streamer plays using the weapon Insect Glaive so the in-game symbol for Insect Glaive was added to the alerts section, adding a touch of personality.
